About
Dr. Elif Güler Ergin is laboratory director and chair of the executive board of Bursa Eurofertil IVF Center (Bursa Eurofertil Tüp Bebek Merkezi). Born in Trabzon in 1967, she graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. After working as a physician in several provinces, she trained in assisted reproductive techniques and clinical embryology at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, where she then worked for two years. In 2000 she set up the IVF laboratory of Istanbul Eurofertil, went on to establish laboratories at 13 IVF centres in the Eurofertil group, and served as laboratory director at Istanbul Eurofertil until 2020. She is a member of ESHRE, the Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine (ÜTD) and the Turkish Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (TSRM), and a founding and current board member of the Clinical Embryology Society (KED). She has contributed embryology chapters to two books.
