About
Dr. Elias Tsakos is the Medical Director of EmbryoClinic IVF in Thessaloniki, Greece, which he founded in 2013; he also founded GynFert in 1999. Trained and certified in the UK, he is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and a specialist in fertility medicine and surgery, with expertise in hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and robotic surgery. He graduated in medicine with honours from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1991, completed his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology under the auspices of the RCOG in 1998, and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010. He also holds the DFFP diploma and BSCCP colposcopy certification. He directs the Department of Robotic Gynaecological Surgery at St. Luke's Hospital, chairs the RCOG's Hellenic International Representative Committee and is President of the Hellenic Robotic Gynaecological Society. He speaks Greek and English.
