In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is the most widely used assisted reproductive technology. The process involves stimulating the ovaries to produce multiple eggs, retrieving them, fertilizing them with sperm in a laboratory, and transferring the resulting embryo(s) to the uterus.

IVF is suitable for a wide range of fertility issues including blocked fallopian tubes, severe endometriosis, unexplained infertility, and male factor infertility. Modern IVF techniques have dramatically improved success rates over the past decades.
