Editorial policy

IVF Finder helps people compare fertility clinics. This page explains how the information on the site is produced, how the site is funded, and where its limits are.

Information, not medical advice

Our treatment guides and articles explain fertility treatments in general terms to help you prepare questions for a doctor. They are not a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and they do not replace a consultation with a qualified fertility specialist.

Clinic profiles

Clinic profiles are based on what each clinic publishes about itself and are checked as described on our How we verify clinics page. Clinics can edit their own profiles; changes are visible on the public page.

How IVF Finder is funded

Clinics and consultants can pay for a subscription that adds features to their profile, and for featured placement. Featured listings are labelled. Payment never changes a clinic's reviews, its rating or the facts on its profile.

The site also shows advertising, which is labelled and kept separate from clinic information.

Translations

IVF Finder is published in several languages. Translations are produced with the help of machine translation. The English version is the reference: if a translation is unclear or differs, the English text is what we stand behind.

Updates and corrections

Clinic profiles show when they were last updated. When we find or are told about an error, we correct it. To report one, use the contact page.
