About
Robert F. Casper, MD, FRCSC, is a founding partner of TRIO Fertility in Toronto, with training in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He established the Toronto Centre for Advanced Reproductive Technology (TCART) in 1993 and, in 2015, merged it with LifeQuest Centre for Reproductive Medicine to form TRIO Fertility. He is Professor Emeritus and former Head of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the University of Toronto's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Senior Investigator at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, Mount Sinai Hospital. He has authored over 390 papers, with research on mitochondria in reproductive aging, endometriosis, endometrial receptivity and preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy. He received the CFAS Award of Excellence for Lifetime Research Achievement in 2004. According to TRIO, he has retired from clinical infertility practice to focus on research.
