About Serum IVF
Serum traces its start to 1989 and to embryologist and biochemist Thimios Ippikoglou; it is now run from Likovrisi in northern Athens by clinic director Penny Ampatzi with Eleftherios Meridis as clinical and scientific director. Much of the caseload is women of advanced reproductive age and couples arriving after recurrent miscarriage or failed cycles elsewhere, so the workup extends to hidden infection screening, uterine microbiota testing and immunological treatment. Every step is carried out in house rather than subcontracted.
