About Fertility Center Berlin
Running since 1999 as a physician-owned MVZ on the grounds of the DRK Kliniken Westend in Charlottenburg, this Berlin practice keeps gynaecological surgery and obstetric backup on the same hospital campus. Around ten doctors work here, among them Prof. Heribert Kentenich and Dr. Andreas Tandler-Schneider, who chairs the German IVF Register, with psychologists attached to the team. Treatment is open to heterosexual and same-sex couples, single women and transgender patients, and to cancer patients freezing gametes before chemotherapy. The laboratory uses an EmbryoScope, vitrification and polar body diagnostics, and the practice reports pregnancy rates of roughly 40% per transfer.
