About Ferticentro
Open since 2002 and working from 1,000 square metres of premises it moved into in 2021, Ferticentro was the first Portuguese clinic to place every embryo under EmbryoScope time-lapse monitoring, which it completed in 2017. It began vitrifying eggs and embryos in 2011 and reports survival rates above 90%, work that Kitazato recognised in 2023. Around fifty staff run treatment paths for heterosexual couples, female couples using the ROPA method and solo mothers, with an English-speaking coordination team for patients travelling in from abroad.
