About CHR de la Citadelle - Centre de PMA (CPMA-ULiège)
The University of Liege's assisted-reproduction centre started in 1983 at the former Hopital de Baviere and moved in 1986 to the Centre Hospitalier Regional de la Citadelle, where its consultations are still held, with a second weekly clinic downtown at the Espace Femme & Sante. Wallonia recognised it as a category B reproductive-medicine centre in 1999, and the federal medicines agency has licensed it as a human body material bank since 2009. Beyond IVF, ICSI and IMSI it offers robot-assisted fertility surgery, freezing of ovarian fragments and immature testicular tissue, and care for transgender patients.
