About Chiang Mai University Hospital - Reproductive Medicine Center
Infertility care in Chiang Mai is delivered by the Reproductive Medicine division of the obstetrics and gynaecology department at Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Medicine, based at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital. Its IVF laboratory achieved the department's first in-vitro pregnancy in 1992 and was inspected and certified by the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2001; a donor sperm bank screening for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and thalassaemia was added in 1999. Services include IVF-ET, GIFT, ICSI, intrauterine insemination and sperm and embryo freezing, and the infertility and reproductive endocrinology clinics run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in room 5 on the fifth floor of the Sri Phat building.
