About Catharina Ziekenhuis - Fertility Centre
Eindhoven's Catharina Ziekenhuis has offered IVF since 1987 and now carries out roughly 1,400 fertility treatments a year, with particular experience in infertility linked to endometriosis. Since 2016 the laboratory half of IVF and ICSI has been performed in Tilburg through Centrum Voortplantingsgeneeskunde Brabant, the merged laboratory shared with Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis, so patients travel there for egg retrieval and embryo transfer while orientating investigation, hormone treatment, insemination, scanning and follow-up stay in Eindhoven. Donor sperm and donor egg treatment were discontinued in January 2023, and an upper age limit of 42 applies to most treatments.
