Prof. Dr. Ebru Öztürk Tavmergen is an obstetrics and gynaecology and IVF specialist at Tavmergen IVF Clinic in Izmir, Turkey, where she is the supervisor of the assisted reproductive treatment (ÜYTE) unit. She studied medicine at Hacettepe University (1989–1996) and completed specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Ankara University (1997–2001). She completed a fellowship at the Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School, USA (2004–2005), as well as laparoscopic (2008) and robotic surgery (2012) training programmes at World Laparoscopy Hospital in New Delhi, India. In obstetrics and gynaecology departments she has served as assistant professor at Gaziantep University (2007–2012), associate professor at Medipol University (2013–2015) and professor at Üsküdar University (2020–2023). She is a member of ASRM, ESHRE, ESGE, the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (TJOD) and the Society of Reproductive Medicine (ÜTD).
