Dr. Gerard Celia, PhD, is the Executive Lab Director at Pacific Fertility Center Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in animal science from the University of Connecticut and a PhD in molecular physiology and biophysics from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where his graduate research focused on implantation and maternal adaptation to pregnancy, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in its Ob/Gyn department. In 2023 he earned an MBA from the Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary. He is certified by the American Association of Bioanalysts as a High Complexity Laboratory Director, Clinical Consultant and Technical Supervisor. He has served as president of the College of Reproductive Biology and of the Society of Reproductive Biologists and Technologists, and on the board of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. He has taught at institutions including George Washington University and Brown University.
